Tyler Wilson returned to Nevada Athletics as an academic advisor in December 2021, overseeing the academics for Nevada's Women's Track & Field and Men's Cross Country teams. Wilson graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from Nevada while competing as a member of the Wolf Pack's football program (2012-14). He then continued his education, receiving his Master's Degree in Athletic Leadership from Boise State University.Â
Wilson's current responsibilities include having academic meetings with student-athletes throughout the year, conducting academic evaluations for incoming freshmen student-athletes and potential transfers, and conducting NCAA and Mountain West eligibility checks for his sports. Prior to returning to Nevada, Wilson previously served as an Assistant Director for Athletics Compliance at Boise State University. In his role he was the primary compliance contact for the Bronco's Men's Basketball, Volleyball, Women's Tennis, Men's and Women's Golf, and Softball Programs.Â
