HIGH SCHOOL – Went to Mayfield HS in Las Cruces ... Competed in both track and cross country ... 2017-2019 district champion in the 800m run ... 2017-2018 district champion in the 4x400m ... Was the runner up in the 800m in state in 2018 ... Was named to the All-District Cross Country teams in both 2018 and 2019 ... Was 2019 All-American in the 800m Junior Olympics ... Named New Mexico Female Mid-Distance Runner of the Year... Some personal bests include a time of 2:15 in the 800m and a time of 58.21 in the 400m. 

PERSONAL –  Daughter of Jon and Brandi Gorzeman ... Has an older sister Jayce who played basketball at the University of Portland and University of Northern Colorado... Father Jon played basketball at Cal Baptist... Chose Nevada because they had her major... Was being recruited by Hawaii, New Mexico, New Mexico State, and Portland State... Sports hero is Sydney McLaughlin... Most memorable event of her career was getting third at the MW Conference Championships in the 4x400m relay... On the Nevada all-time list for the 4x400m relay and the 800m... Enjoys playing with her puppies and kitten, hiking, and camping.
