JUNIOR (2022) - Competed in five meets this season... Placed sixth at the Nevada Twilight Classic in a time of 22:42... Finished in 97th place with a time of 22:41, the third-highest finish for the women, now ranked 47th on the Nevada all-time list for the 6K... Placed 67th at the Bronco Invitational in 21:26... Ran a 22:21 at the Mountain West Championships, placing 62nd... Ran in a 22:25.5, placing 98th at the NCAA Mountain Regional Championships.
PRIOR TO NEVADA - Began collegiate career at the University of Wollongong in Australia.
HIGH SCHOOL - Went to St. Mary Star of the Sea College in Wollongong, Australia... trained with the Royal Australian Air Force... Received the Bronze Duke of Ed Award.... was first place in chemistry and physics... Also received the Royal Australian Air Force 1RTU PT Excellence Award.
PERSONAL - Daughter of Scott and Louise Penrose... Has a sister Tamzen... Majoring in Kinesiology... Chose to be a member of the Pack because the team and coaching staff felt like family only after a few days... Was recruited by Utah, Utah Valley, and Western Colorado... Lists her sports heroes as Majell Backhausen, Dakota Jones, Ash Barty, and Courtney Dauwalter... Most memorable experience in her career was winning Ultra Trail Australia in 2022... In her free time she enjoys anything outside and volunteering with
