HIGH SCHOOL - Local product out of Reno High School … distance specialist who will also compete for the Nevada track & field team … … ran a personal best time of 2:16.67 in the 800m in the 2015 Nevada State Championships … ran to a pair of fifth place finishes in both the 1600m (5:07.00 PR) and 800m (2:18.00 PR) in the 2014 Nevada State Championships … placed ninth in states in the 5000m
PERSONAL - Daughter of Katherine McCall and Mitchell Tufts … chose Nevada because she loves the climate and terrain and she grew up spending time at the university … intends to major in anthropology … lists teammates Erika and Sidney Root as her sports heroes … also recruited by Hawaii, SUNY Cortland and Montana State
