SOPHOMORE (2020-21) -- Had her rookie season cut short after 18 games due to an injury … Despite a shortened season, earned a selection to the Mountain West All-Freshmen team … Nevada’s leading returner scorer at 6.6 points per game.
FRESHMAN (2019-20) -- Selected to the Mountain West All-Freshman team … Played in 18 of the Pack’s 31 games during her rookie season, making three starts … Had her season cut short due to injury, playing her last game at New Mexico on Jan. 25 … Earned her first collegiate start in the win over Utah State (1/11) … Averaged 16.8 minutes per game, including a season-high 36 in the overtime loss to SJSU (1/8) … Totaled 119 points on the year to average 6.8 points per game and grabbed 64 rebounds to average 3.6 rebounds per game … Added 17 assists, 11 steals and six blocks … Shot 35.7 percent (45-of-126) from the field, hit six 3-pointers and shot 53.5 percent (23-of-43) from the free throw line … Scored in double figures in six games, including two 17-point performances, a season high … Posted 17 points on the road at Colorado State (1/1) where she was 7-of-14 from the field, including three triples, and scored 17 points in the win over Utah State (1/11), again hitting three shots from beyond the arc … Grabbed a season-high seven rebounds twice, first at Colorado State (1/1) and later in the home win over San Diego State (1/18) … Academic All-Mountain West.
HIGH SCHOOL -- Named the Gatorade Arizona Girls Basketball Player of the Year … Helped lead her team at Millennium High School to the 5A Championship her senior year … Averaged 15.6 points, 6.1 rebounds, 3.3 assists and 3.1 steals in her final season to help her team go 27-4 on the year … Scored over 1,700 points in her high school career … In her first three years with the program, helped lead the Lady Tigers to three consecutive appearances in the state quarterfinals, two Final Four appearances and one state championship appearance … Earned many accolades during her high school career, including two first team all-region awards, second team all-section, honorable mention all-state, and was twice named the 6A Offensive Player of the Year.
PERSONAL -- Daughter of Sheila Phillips and Thomas Phillips … Has an older sister, Desiree … Her mom, Sheila, played basketball at North Texas State … Undecided on a major but would like to become an athletic trainer after college … Chose Nevada because she loves the whole coaching staff, felt at home in Nevada, and has had a long relationship with Coach Levens, who stuck with her and continued to show interest throughout her high school career … Also recruited by Cal State Fullerton, UC Davis, San Diego, Air Force and UC Santa Barbara … Lists Jackie Robinson and Michael Jordan as her sports heroes … The most memorable moment in her high school career was a game against Valley Vista where the gym was packed and loud with fans and she closed the game out with three and ones … Enjoys babysitting and training young basketball players in her free time.
