SOPHOMORE (2018) – Made six appearances for Nevada, including one start at second base against Seattle U, recording a putout and an assist in the contest … Came off the bench and singled home a run against New Mexico … Posted a flawless season in the field, recording a 1.000 fielding percentage and three assists … Became the inspiration behind tweeting a team photo of Gru faces that received nearly 42,000 impressions, and over 375 likes and 65 retweets …  Helped Nevada make back-to-back postseason appearances since the 2008-09 seasons.

FRESHMAN (2017) – A MW Academic All-Conference selection ... Appeared in 33 contests while starting in 28 games for the Wolf Pack, where she helped lead the Pack to the program’s first postseason berth since the 2009 season … Began her collegiate career reaching base safely in her first five plate appearances, collecting her first career hit, RBI and run scored in the process … Ranked in a tie for second on the team with 11 walks during conference play … Recorded a career-high three hits in the final game of the regular season against San Diego State … Scored two runs in the Pack’s series-winning game against Fresno State ... Letterwinner.

HIGH SCHOOL – A two-sport athlete at Buchanan High School in Fresno, Calif., where she competed on the softball and tennis teams all four years... Won the California Interscholastic Federation (CIF) Division I Central Section Championship in tennis in 2013, 2015-16 ... Helped lead her softball team to a CIF Division I Central Section Championship in her senior season ... Earned First Team All-Conference from 2014-16 and was named the conference MVP in 2016 ... Named to the First Team All-Section squad in softball from 2014-15, where she received the section MVP in 2016.

PERSONAL – Daughter of Eric and Kelly Swain ... Has one older brother, Ryan-Michael ... Her father Eric played basketball at Menlo College in Atherton, Calif. ... Has had five other relatives who have competed athletically at the collegiate level, including three former Nevada softball players (Samantha, Brittany and Kim Puzzey) ... Chose Nevada because “I was born in Northern Nevada and my dad, uncle and cousins are all alumni.” ... Also recruited by UC Riverside, BYU, Arkansas, George Mason and University of Phoenix ...
