FRESHMAN (2018) – Began her Wolf Pack career having started in four of Nevada’s first five games of the 2018 campaign and finishing the season appearing in nine contests … Recorded the first hit of her collegiate career in the season-opener against Louisiana Tech … Posted a career-best seven putouts in the Pack’s win over UTEP … Came off the bench and singled home an RBI in the Pack’s second win of the season over Southern Utah … Helped Nevada make back-to-back postseason appearances since the 2008-09 seasons.

HIGH SCHOOL – Attended Reed HS where she lettered in softball all four years she played … Won a regional championship 2014-17, including a state title in 2015 and state runner-up finish in 2014 and 2017 … Named a second team All-State catcher in 2015 and All-Region Second Team from 2015-16 … Competed for the Nevada Lightning, California Grapettes and NorCal Firecrackers throughout her travel ball career.

PERSONAL – Daughter of Gary and Jennifer Smith … Has four older brothers, Gary III, Anthony, Mishawn and Andrew, who wrestled at Lassen CC … Chose Nevada because it’s her hometown and has always dreamt of playing softball for the Pack … Lists Jackie Robinson as her sports hero and winning the state championship in 2015 as the most memorable moment of her career … Enjoys spending time with family and friends, and going to Lake Tahoe … Plans majoring in Human Development Family Studies with aspirations of becoming a social worker.
