Biography

JUNIOR (2018) – Made eight appearances in the batter’s box, while appearing four times in the circle … Drove in a career-high two runs in the Pack’s series-clinching win over San José State … Went 1-for-2 with an RBI and run scored against No. 23 James Madison … Came out of the bullpen in the Pack’s second matchup with Seattle U, where she allowed just one earned run in 1.2 innings of work … Saw five outs of action against Montana, producing three outs by herself via the strikeout … Helped Nevada make back-to-back postseason appearances since the 2008-09 seasons … Letter winner.

SOPHOMORE (2017) – Played a versatile role for Nevada making a total of 15 appearances in both the circle and in the batter’s box … Finished the year batting .364 after going 3-for-4 (.750) with a walk and two runs scored in her first five plate appearances … Also slugged .455 and reached base 46.2 percent of the time … Completed the season with a 3.31 ERA in her final four appearances …. Collected her first win of the year after tossing four innings of relief and allowing one earned run in Nevada’s comeback win over Utah Valley … Pitched nine innings of relief and tied her career-high with four strikeouts against Colorado State to earn the victory in the Pack’s 14-inning contest against the Rams … Helped the Pack reach the postseason for the first time since the 2009 campaign.

BEFORE NEVADA – Transferred from Boise State University, where she made 38 appearances and 18 starts in her freshman campaign … Collected the first win of her collegiate career win going the distance against Seattle University, striking out four batters in the process.

HIGH SCHOOL – Earned a career record of 52-21 at Central High School, posted a career ERA of 0.78 and 26 shutouts … Named the Fresno Bee’s 2014 Softball Player of the Year and the Tri-River Athletic Conference MVP … Received First-Team All-League, All-Valley and All-State honors in 2013.

PERSONAL – Daughter of Andy Rodriguez and Eleanor Pulido … Has an older sister, Serena Rodriguez, and two older brothers, Michael and Theodore Pulido, as well as a younger sister, Yvette Rodriguez … Chose Nevada because it’s not too far away from home and felt like it was the best opportunity to continue playing her career … Lists Cat Osterman as her sports hero … Most memorable moment of her career was competing in the high school championship game for the second year in a row … Enjoys going to Sign Language events, listening to music and hanging out with friends … Has already graduated in Psychology - Research and is continuing her education in Psychology - Behavior Analysis with hopes to become a forensic psychologist.
