Biography

SENIOR (2017) – Served as the Pack’s primary shortstop, starting in all 44 games she appeared in … Finished the season driving in a career-best 19 RBIs … Tallied a total of seven multi-hit games … Recorded a stretch against New Mexico, UNLV and Kansas where she went a combined 9-for-22 (.409) in those seven games … Had a career day at the plate against Utah Valley, where she collected a career-high three hits and scored a career-best three runs … Went 2-for-3 with an RBI and a run scored in Nevada’s run-rule victory over Iowa State … Gave Nevada the walk-off win in the 14th inning over Colorado State, where she tied her career high with three RBIs in a game … Helped lead Nevada to the postseason for the first time since the 2009 season.

JUNIOR (2016) – Played and started in 46 games … Hit .286 with six doubles, a home run and 12 RBIs … Started 39 games at third base … Also saw time at shortstop and second base … Tied for fourth on the team in doubles … Registered eight multi-hit games … Safely reached base in the final seven games of the season … Posted a career-high three RBIs in a 9-0 win over Robert Morris … Also hit her first collegiate home run against the Colonials … Went 2-for-2 with two runs scored and a double in the first game of the season against Bradley … Drove in two runs and went 2-for-4 in a run-rule victory over Santa Clara … Went 5-for-9 with two RBIs and a run scored in two games against San Jose State and the series opener with Fresno State.

BEFORE NEVADA – Played in 15 and started in 14 games as a sophomore at McNeese State where she hit .238 … Played in eight games as a reserve in her freshman campaign … Picked up one hit in eight at-bats … Her first collegiate hit came against Lamar.

HIGH SCHOOL – Attended Knight HS where she was a four year letter winner... Member of the 2011 Gold League Champions ... Four-time all-Golden League (1st team) ... Offensive MVP (2010) ... Defensive MVP (2013) ... Had a .523 batting average her junior season with eight home runs and 38 RBI ... Team captain.

PERSONAL – Daughter of Lupe and Jose Arriaga … Plans on majoring in psychology and minoring in human development and family studies … Chose Nevada because of the welcoming environment and current players on the team.
