2020 (Sr. *Season shorted due to COVID-19)  - Saw action in 22 games with 20 starts at third base … Recorded four multi-hit games and four multi-RBI games on the season … Finished the season with a .271 average with 16 hits, nine of which were extra base hits … Ranked first on the team in home runs (4), walks (10), slugging percentage (.576), third in RBI (13) and fourth in total bases (35) … Had a multi-hit game at Stanford, going 2-for-3 with a 2 RBI home run in the seventh to seal the win for Nevada… Went 4-for-6 on the day in Moraga, Calif. with a home run in each contest to help the Pack take down Utah Valley and Saint Mary’s.

2019 (Jr.) – Made one appearance on the year … Came off the bench as a pinch hitter in the Friday contest against Utah State that saw Nevada fall, 4-3. 
 
2018 (So.) – Finished her sophomore campaign having started in 10 games, making a total of 19 appearances on the season … Became a valuable threat off the bench for Nevada towards the end of the season, finishing the year giong 2-for-4 with a pair of RBIs in her final four pinch hitting appearances … Served as the Pack’s starting first basemen in the opening-weekend, where she recorded two games with nine putouts, marking a career-high … Collected a season-high in hits (2) and RBIs (2) in Nevada’s first contest against Long Beach State … Came off the bench and singled home two runs in the Pack’s 21-run outburst against New Mexico … Helped Nevada make back-to-back postseason appearances since the 2008-09 seasons … Letter winner.

2017 (Fr.) – Competed in 39 games for the Pack making starts at third base, second base and in the designated player’s position … Finished the year ranked second on the team with six home runs and a .573 slugging percentage … In her final 11 games, she batted .400 (10-for-25) with 11 RBIs, five home runs and a slugging percentage of 1.040 … Recorded a career-high three hits in the Pack’s opening game of the NISC, hitting two home runs including a walk-off solo shot in the bottom of the seventh … Went 2-for-4 with two home runs in the final game of the regular season against San Diego State … Launched the first home run of her career, a grand slam, against Rhode Island, where she finished the game batting 2-for-3 with a career-high five RBIs … Registered the first hit of her collegiate career in a 2-for-3 performance in a win over UTEP … Helped lead the Pack to its first postseason berth since the 2009 season ... Letter winner.

HIGH SCHOOL – Lettered the last three years at Luther Burbank HS for head coach Cedric Snydor … Played a key role on multiple championship teams with the California Breeze club team … Caught and played third base for the 14U Triple Crown Champions and the PGF 16U Champions … Also an accomplished rugby player … Played club rugby for the Sacramento Amazons.

PERSONAL – Daughter of David and Brianna Tausinga … Has one older sister, Suliana … Is majoring in Human Development and Family Studies … Chose Nevada because it is close to her hometown … Also recruited by Central Washington … The most memorable moment of her career was playing seven games on a Sunday to win nationals in Sparks, Nev. and hitting a two-run home run to win the championship game … Enjoys baking, volunteering at youth rugby and softball practices, going on family outings and family events in her free time.
