HIGH SCHOOL – Attended Reno HS, where she played four seasons under Jim Pace and Joyce Cathy, and received four letters in softball … Earned All-Conference pitcher all four years of high school … Played for Reno Heat softball and won over 50 tournaments in the six years she played for that team.

PERSONAL – Daughter of John and Cathy Spencer … Has one sister, Michelle, and two brothers, Marc and Travis … Majoring in journalism and plans to work in public relations following graduation … Father is a retired undersheriff of the Washoe County Sheriff’s office … chose Nevada because it’s her hometown and “nothing feels better than having your family come and watch you play.” … Lists Buster Posey as her sports hero … The most memorable moment of her career was winning nationals in 2014 in Palmdale, California … Enjoys going to the Dailey Method in the morning, working out, going to Tahoe to relax on the beach and exploring Reno to find places she’s never seen before.
