Kourtney Davis has joined Gardner[apos]s staff as a volunteer assistant for the 2005 season.
The Reno native (Galena High School) product received a degree in Business Marketing and graduated with honors from the University of Nevada in May 2004.
She pitched for Oklahoma in 2000, the year they won the NCAA title, and then transferred to the University of California where she pitched for the Golden Bear for the 2001 season.
Though she didn[apos]t compete for the Wolf Pack, she completed her degree in her hometown and was on the Dean[apos]s List twice.
At Galena, she was a three-time state MVP in helping Galena win three state titles.
She was part of the 1999 18U Gold National Champions and was a first-team All-America selection in 1998 on the 18U Gold in ASA.
She will work with the pitchers and be involved in most aspects of the program while serving as a volunteer assistant.
