Biography

JUNIOR (2018) – Served as a valuable asset for the Pack, coming off the bench in critical pinch-running situations … Finished the season scoring 20 runs in her 36 appearances … Scored 11 runs in her first 14 appearances of the year … Made the first start of her career in Nevada’s season-opener against Louisiana Tech … Tallied the first RBI of her career after coming off the bench and recording her first hit of the season … Recorded the first putout of her career against Boise State … Helped Nevada make back-to-back postseason appearances since the 2008-09 seasons … Letter winner.

SOPHOMORE (2017) – Appeared in 16 games, 14 as a pinch runner … Scored a career-high nine runs on the season … Registered her first career hit against Utah State … Stole the first base of her career in the Pack’s win over Southern Utah … Finished the year crossing the plate in her last five appearances, including twice in the postseason … Helped Nevada reach the postseason for the first time since the 2009 season … A Silver and Blue Scholar-Athlete ... Letter winner.

FRESHMAN (2016) – Mountain West Scholar-Athlete … Joined the team mid-season after competing with the Wolf Pack women’s basketball team … Appeared in five games as a pinch runner … Scored two runs, crossing the plate against Niagara and Utah State.

HIGH SCHOOL – Attended Churchill County High School in the nearby town of Fallon where she was a three-sport athlete in softball, basketball and volleyball … Won three state titles in softball, where she earned first team all-state as a senior, two second-team all-state selections and three first-team all-league honors … Batted .551 her senior year and led the league with 76 hits, 53 runs scored and drove in 42 runs … Member of Young Republicans, National Honor Society, Students Taking On Prevention, On-Campus Spanish Tutors (president), Health Occupation Students of America, National Thespian Society, Block F (president), also graduated as a Co-Valedictorian … Played travel ball for the Nevada Comets and attended the Premiere Girls Fastpitch National Championships in 2013.

PERSONAL – Daughter of Ken Tedford and Jennifer Hallam … has three older siblings, two brothers, Kenny and Dylan, and a sister, Darcy … Has a few family members who participated in athletics at Nevada; her father, Ken, played baseball and basketball, her great-grandfather played baseball and her cousins, Michelle Hallisey and Megan Salcido, played softball … Brother, Dylan, played football at Willamette University and Occidental College ... Chose Nevada because she wanted to stay close to home and always dreamed of playing for the Wolf Pack… Lists Tim Tebow, Brandon Crawford and Steph Curry as her sports heroes … Most memorable moment in her career is winning three state titles in high school softball … Enjoys going to Lake Tahoe, volunteering for her church, eating sushi and hanging out with friends in her spare time ... Majoring in Kinesiology ... Plans on attending physical therapy school or law school after completing her undergraduate degree.
