Biography

SENIOR SEASON (2022-23) - Competed in one race this season... Saw a 29th place finish in slalom (1:48.46) and 41st in the giant slalom (2:29.19) at the Western Region Elite. 

PRIOR TO NEVADA - Began her collegiate career at the University of Nevada, Lake Tahoe... Competed in alpine skiing all four years (2019-2022)... Won the women's USCSA championship (2020), the women's giant slalom championship (2020), and received second overall in women's slalom at the USCSA championship (2020). 

HIGH SCHOOL - Graduated from Holderness School in New Hampshire in 2019... Competed in alpine skiing all four years (2016-2019), tennis (2017-2018) and mountain biking (2017)... Apart of The Advanced Chinese Prize (2019), a Cum Laude Member (2019), and was a senior leader. 

PERSONAL - Daughter of Jarkko and Katja Hämäläinen... Chose Nevada because of the proximity to the mountains and Lake Tahoe... Most memorable experience in her career was winning the USCSA National Championships in 2020... In her free time she enjoys hanging out with friends, playing tennis, eating sushi, and being a member of the climate change club.
