REDSHIRT JUNIOR (Fall 2024) - Competed in five meets during his junior season... Ran a time of 23:50.4 in the 4.5 mile at the George Kyte Classic, placing 19th, his best finish of the season... Ran a 25:28.5 at the UCR Cross Country Invitational... His best 8k time of the season came at the Bill Dellinger Invitational, with a time of 25:12.7... Had a top-50 finish at the Mountain West Championships with a time of 26.12 in the 8k... Placed 76th in the 10k at the NCAA Mountain Regional with a time of 31:14.7.

JUNIOR (Fall 2023) - Did not compete. 

SOPHOMORE (Fall 2022) - Competed in five meets during the season... Ran in a time of 25:03 in the 7k at the Nevada Twilight Classic... Placed 147th at the Griak Invitational with a time of 26:42... Ran a 25:12 at the Bronco Invitational, a new best by 55 seconds... Placed 56th at the Mountain West Championships with a 25:33... Placed 99th with a time of 31:12.6 in his first collegiate 10K at the NCAA Mountain Regional.

FRESHMAN (Fall 2021) - Competed in two meets during the season ... His best time in the 8k coming at the Bronco Invitational with his 49th place finish time of 26:07 ... He also competed at the USF Invitational and finished in 88th with a time of 28:08.

HIGH SCHOOL - Went to Douglas HS ... Was a three sport athlete and letter winner in basketball (2017-18), cross country (2017-2021), and track and field (2017-2021)...... Was All-State academic team in 2020 and 2021.

PERSONAL - Son of Cade and Adriane Baligad ... Has a sister named Zoe ... Chose Nevada because he loved the team culture and Reno... Majors in biochemistry ... Sports hero is David Goggins ... Enjoys working as an EMT, volunteering for Washoe County Search and Rescue, flyfishing, and backpacking.
