A former men’s basketball graduate assistant from 2022 to 2024, began his new role as the special assistant to head coach Steve Alford in July 2024.
Moore joined the Reno program after serving as an assistant coach at Division II West Alabama for one year and at Division II Adams State for another. His coaching journey also includes a stint at NAIA Dickinson State in 2019.
Before transitioning to college, he was a standout athlete in high school, earning All-State honors in basketball twice while playing for his father at Papillion La Vista. Moore then gained valuable experience as a varsity assistant and head junior varsity coach at Papillion La Vista High School. He enjoyed a successful playing career, starting at Western Nebraska Community College and then at McCook Community College, where he earned All-Conference honors. He completed his collegiate career at Division II Florida Southern and was recognized as an All-Conference player at Hastings College.
Moore graduated from Hastings College in 2018 with a degree in Exercise Science.
