University of Nevada Athletics

Chastity Chov is in her second year at Nevada and comes to the Wolf Pack after working as a graduate assistant Athletic Trainer with the Michigan State football team while earning her Master of Science degree in Athletic Training. At Nevada, she works primarily with the men’s basketball team, along with the women’s tennis team, and assists with policy and procedure development, injury tracking, and insurance claims. 
 
Prior to her time at Michigan State, Chov was at The University of Texas, where she graduated in 2017 with a bachelor’s of science degree in athletic training. As a student, she worked primarily with men’s basketball, along with the football, swimming and diving, women’s soccer, tennis, and softball teams. While at Texas she worked for Coach Alford’s former Athletic Trainer.
 
Chov has been a member of the National Athletic Trainers Association since 2013. She currently holds CPR/AED and first aid certifications, along with being certified in applied functional science through the Gray Institute. She served on the Southwest Athletic Trainers’ Association Student Senate and the National Athletic Trainers’ Association Student Leadership Committee from 2015-2016. She currently serves as the Northern Nevada Representative on the Nevada Athletic Trainers’ Association Board of Directors.
