A native of New Castle, Indiana, McKown earned his bachelor’s degree in Sport Leadership and Management from Miami University (Ohio), where he also gained hands-on experience in sports event management.

He worked with Miami’s athletics department and later with the world-renowned Indianapolis Motor Speedway, contributing to the operations of large-scale sporting events.

McKown is currently pursuing his MBA at the University of Nevada, bringing with him a strong foundation in event coordination, team logistics, and leadership in athletic settings.
