JUNIOR (2017) – Saw action in nine games in his first year with the Wolf Pack … Returned four kicks for 102 yards … Tallied 25 tackles, 16 solo … Recorded one fumble recovery … Deflected five passes … Had picks in back-to-back weeks at Fresno State and against Hawai’i … Had two total interceptions in 2017 … Had a high of six tackles at Colorado State.
 
PRIOR TO NEVADA – Attended Ventura College prior to joining the Nevada football squad … Was a member of the 2016 Western State Conference Championship team … Was named a 2016 Junior College All-American … Earned first team All-State and All-Conference honors in 2016 … Logged 41 tackles, one for a loss, in 2016 … Also picked off three balls for 38 yards … Was an excellent kick returner, returning a kickoff and two punts for a touchdown in 2016 … Averaged 23.4 yards per return, including one from end zone to end zone.
 
PERSONAL – Son of Althea Gaines and Vincent Crumbie … Has an older and a younger sister and an older brother … Earned his associate degree at Ventura College … Plans to major in Liberal Arts at Nevada … Went to the IMG Academy in Bradenton, Fla.
