HIGH SCHOOL – Graduated from Christian High School in El Cajon, Calif. where he was a two-sport athlete in football and track & field … Part of a team that won three consecutive City League Championships from 2014-16 and a CIF Championship in 2014 … Named the most valuable offensive player twice (2014, 2016) … As a senior, hauled in 60 catches for 1,140 yards … Scored 13 touchdowns in his final year in high school … Also rushed for 150 yards on 17 carries with a touchdown ... Earned three first team honors in track & field and was part of two CIF Championships in track in 2015 and 2016 … Was the CIF Champion in the 100m in three consecutive years (2015-17).
 
PERSONAL – Son of Diane Pearson and John Goodwin … Has two sisters, Jackie Powell and Amanda Armagost, and one brother, Nathan Lovel … Majoring in kinesiology and plans to become a physical therapist after college … Chose Nevada because of the passing game … Also recruited by New Mexico, San Jose State, Sacramento State and Duquesne, among others … Lists Jerry Rice, Randy Moss, DeSean Jackson and Calvin Johnson as his sports heroes … Enjoys making music and chilling with the brodies in his free time … Spent some time growing up in Alaska and ran from a bear once, has been fast ever since.
