NEVADA
SOPHOMORE (2018) – Started in all 11 regular season games that he played in as one of Nevada’s safeties … Racked up 53 tackles on the season, 32 of them being solo … Ranked sixth on the team with six tackles for loss … Picked up his second career interception in the Pack’s game against Boise State and returned it 35 yards … His best game of the season came against UNLV where he recorded a season-high eight tackles and had 1.5 tackles for loss along with his first fumble recovery of the season … Five of his eight tackles against the Rebels were solo … Recorded one pass breakup against Oregon State.
 
FRESHMAN (2017) – Earned Nevada’s Hustle Award for his efforts on special teams … Played in all 12 games, making eight starts … Had a very impactful true freshman season, ranking fifth on the team in total tackles with 58 … Of his 58 tackles, 32 were solo … Added 4.5 tackles for loss which totaled 10 yards … Produced a season-best 10 tackles at Washington State (9/23) where he also had his first career interception and first career QB hurry … Forced a fumble and recovered another at Fresno State (9/30) … Had three pass break ups on the year … Recorded at least one tackle in all 12 games in which he played and at least four tackles in nine contests.
 
HIGH SCHOOL - A two-time state champion … Took state in 2013 and 2016 … Lettered in all four years of high school … Lists the 2016 state championship game as his favorite sports memory … Was named the Region Nine MVP … Was named the state 3AA MVP … Averaged almost two tackles per game with a pick and a forced fumble in his senior year.
 
PERSONAL - Younger brother of Wolf Pack linebacker Gabe Sewell … Son of Arlene and Gabriele Sewell … Chose Nevada as he felt like it was the place he could best further his athletic ability … Was also recruited by Washington State and Weber State.
