FIFTH YEAR (2024): All-Mountain West Honorable Mention ... Appeared in all 13 games, making 12 starts ... Played snaps on both sides of the line as well as on special teams in 2024 ... Led the Wolf Pack with 76 tackles, intercepted two passes one of which was returned for a touchdown, and made 3.0 tackles-for-loss ... Had the team's only defensive touchdown of 2024, coming on a 52-yard pick-six against Oregon State ... Returned a kick 19 yards, made five tackles in opener against SMU (Aug. 24) ... Made seven tackles at Troy (Aug. 31) ... Broke up a pass and made six tackles against Georgia Southern (Sept. 7) ... Made four tackles (three solo) and broke up another pass, while making a six-yard catch on offense, at Minnesota (Sept. 14) ... Will utilize his fifth year at Nevada after a standout four-year career at Texas (2020-23) … Part of the 2023 Big XII champion Longhorn squad that reached the CFP semifinal … With the Longhorns, was named Honorable Mention Big 12 Special Teams Player of the Year in 2023, and appeared in 46 games over his career … Racked up 61 tackles, 2.0 tackles-for-loss, an interception, and two pass breakups during his time at Texas … Special teams ace blocked a punt and a field goal during his career … Made his first-career interception in the 2023 Big 12 Championship Game victory over Oklahoma State … Senior season was also highlighted by five tackles in Longhorn victory at No. 3 Alabama … As a prep, was an All-American and two-time all-district selection at John Tyler High School … Was selected to participate in the 2020 Under Armour All-America Game … Mother is Natika Johnson and step-father is Eric Johnson.
