2012: Returns to his starting position at one of the quarterback spots ... Is Nevada[apos]s top returner in terms of interceptions after picking four in 2011 ... Named to Preseason All-MW Third Team by College Football Madness ... Named to Preseason All-MW Second Team by the Phil Steele.

2011: Started all 13 games and was second on the team in interceptions with four ... Is Nevada[apos]s active leader in picks with eight ... Was fourth on the team in tackles with 73 ... Also forced two fumbles and recorded a TFL ... Set a career high in tackles with nine at Boise State ... Also broke up four passes to give him eight passes defended on the season ... Recorded 251 yards on 11 kick returns.

2010: Played all 14 games as a key member of the secondary and a strong performer on special teams ... Was credited with 16 tackles on the year and also forced a fumble against Idaho ... Entered the Nevada record books with one of the longest interception returns in history -- a 90-yard 'pick-six' against New Mexico State ... Grabbed another interception late in the Kraft Fight Hunger Bowl game that sealed Nevada[apos]s win over Boston College.

2009: Played 12 games with no starts ... Recorded 15 tackles on the year, including career-best four stops against Fresno State ... Recorded first career interception with a touchdown-saving play at San Jose State ... Second pick came in very next game as he intercepted Fresno?State just before halftime in another Pack victory ... Fourteen of his 15 tackles were solo tackles ... Notched first career tackle for loss (3 yards) in the bowl game against SMU.

2008: Redshirted his first season at Nevada.

High School

A graduate of Carter High School in Rialto, Calif. ... Played safety and quarterback in high school and was a four-year letterman ... Rushed for more than 700 yards and seven touchdowns and threw for nearly, 1,200 yards as a senior ... Was Citrus Belt League MVP in 2007 and a two-time first-team All-League selection in 2006 and 2007 ... Was second-team All-League as a sophomore and Honorable Mention as a freshman ... Guided team to city championship in 2006 and 2007 ... Also lettered in track and volleyball.
