REDSHIRT FRESHMAN (2020) – Looking for his first action in a Nevada uniform this season after sitting out in 2019.

FRESHMAN (2019) – Sat out the 2019 season due to NCAA transfer rules after transferring to the Pack from Boise State.
 
HIGH SCHOOL – Graduated from Folsom High School in California where he was a three-year letterwinner in football … Helped lead his high school to back-to-back CIF Division I state championships in 2017 and 2018 … In two years as the starting QB he posted 8,912 passing yards and 121 touchdown passes … Added 2,137 rushing yards and 38 rushing touchdowns.
 
PERSONAL – Son of Derek and Jasmine Bennett … Has two brothers, Jawon and AJ, and one sister, Stella … Majoring in communications with a minor in business … Chose Nevada because it’s his hometown school … Grew up in Sparks before moving to Folsom, Calif. to play high school football … Originally committed to Boise State but transferred out prior to the start of the 2019 season … Lists Cam Newton as his sports hero.
