JUNIOR (2021) – Appeared in 11 games, making 21 tackles including 4.0 tackles for loss of 15 yards... Posted 13 solo tackles and eight assists... Made 1.5 sacks for a loss of 10 yards... Notched season-high five tackles at Colorado State (Nov. 27). 

SOPHOMORE (2020) – Played in eight games, recorded two tackles.

REDSHIRT FRESHMAN (2019) – Did not see the field in his second season with Nevada.

FRESHMAN (2018) – Played in one game for the Wolf Pack against Portland State before redshirting.

HIGH SCHOOL – Graduated from Granite Bay High School in California where he was a two-sport athlete in football and baseball … Helped lead his team to a section championship his senior year … Served as a team captain and was the MVP of the defense … Earned first team all-league and first team all-section honors … Posted 15 sacks and 24 tackles for loss his senior year.
 
PERSONAL – Son of Julie and Jeff Powers … Has two older brothers, Griffin and Grant … His father, Jeff, was a swimmer in college at USC … Management major … Chose Nevada because of the great education and the direction of the football program … Also recruited by UC Davis … Lists JJ Watt as his sports hero … The most memorable moment of his pre-college career was winning the section championship at Sacramento State … Enjoys hanging out with teammates and being outdoors in his free time.
