Trent Greene enters his first season as Defensive Analyst with the Wolf Pack football team in 2021.
Greene joins the Wolf Pack after serving as linebackers and punt return coach as well as NCAA Compliance, Recruiting Director, and Academic Support with Nolan Catholic High School in Fort Worth, Texas since 2020. Under his tutelage, the team finished ranked No. 12 in Texas and was the TAPPS 2020 State Championship runner-ups following an 8-1 season.
He played three seasons at Bowling Green and totaled 248 career tackles, including 127 in 2015 to help BGSU capture the Mid-American Conference (MAC) title in its second year under Dino Babers. The following season, Greene paced the Falcons with 111 stops and ranked fourth in the conference in tackles per game (9.3). He was team Captain in 2016 and Defensive Captain in 2015 while with the Falcon football program.
The Miami Gardens, Florida native was a member of a defense that earned top-15 rankings in turnovers gained (#3, 2018), team sacks (#6, 2018), third-down conversion percentage defense (#7, 2018), and the #15 team in the nation in 2018.
Following his playing days, Greene went on to be a Defensive Graduate Assistant Linebackers Coach at Syracuse University from 2017 to 2019. He coached four Orange standouts who earned conference recognition, Parris Bennett (2017 All-ACC), Zaire Franklin (2017 Honorable Mention All-ACC; 7th round draft pick, Indianapolis Colts), Lakiem Williams (2019 3rd-Team All-ACC), and Mikel Jones (PFF Freshman 3rd Team All-American) during his time with Syracuse.
