Ryder Meyer joins the Nevada staff as defensive assistant in 2026.
Meyer spent six years (2019-24) at Montana, playing defensive back and helping the Griz to the FCS national title game in 2024. He appeared in 48 games as a Grizzly and made 26 starts, logging 183 career tackles (84 solo), with 8.5 tackles-for-loss, two interceptions, seven pass deflections, and one fumble recovery.
Following his senior year, Meyer earned the Tony Barbour Award, given to the Montana player "who best exemplifies outstanding practice habits and makes an unselfish contribution to the betterment of the Grizzly Football Team."
