Peyton Yanagi returns to Reno as Nevada's Special Teams Coordinator in 2023.
Yanagi, a Nevada graduate assistant in 2022, was previously in an analyst role at Tulsa.

He spent four seasons (2018-21) at Oregon as a long snapper, his final three years overlapping with Wilson’s time on the Ducks staff (2019-21). During his time in Eugene, Yanagi was part of two Ducks Pac-12 Champion squads (2019-20) as well as the 2019 Rose Bowl Champion team.
A Honolulu native, Yanagi helped lead Saint Louis School to back-to-back Division I state titles in 2016 and 2017. Following his senior season, he was selected to play in the 2017 Polynesian Bowl.
