Matt Yzaguirre begins his first season on the Nevada staff as assistant offensive line coach in 2026.
Yzaguirre joins the Wolf Pack after spending the 2025 season as assistant tight ends coach at UTSA. Prior to joining the Roadrunners, Yzaguirre spent two seasons (2023-24) at his alma mater, University of Mary Hardin-Baylor, where he served as running backs/tight ends coach.
Yzaguirre had previously served as a graduate assistant at UMHB after being on the football team for two seasons then working with running backs as a student assistant. Between his stints at UMHB he served as assistant quarterbacks coach at Stephen F. Austin University.
He holds a degree in sport management from UMHB.
