2017 Headshot of Jeff Nady

Jeff Nady

A familiar face to Nevada fans and the Northern Nevada community, former Wolf Pack great Jeff Nady enters his fourth season on the coaching staff and his second as a graduate assistant.

A native of nearby Minden, Nady will again serve as an offensive graduate assistant in 2017 while assisting Mason Miller with the offensive line. Nady has also spent time around the program as an intern with the strength and conditioning department.

A local product and graduate of Douglas High School, Nady was a stellar lineman at Nevada. He joined the program in 2008 before making his debut as a redshirt freshman in 2009. Nady emerged as a sophomore to play in 13 games with 10 starts in 2010, leading one of the most explosive offenses in the nation.

Nady earned all-conference honors in his final two seasons with the Wolf Pack and served as a team captain in 2012. He was named to the All-WAC second team as a junior in 2011 before being named to the All-Mountain West first team as a senior. Nady and the rest of the 2012 senior class is currently the winningest class in Nevada football program history.

Nady went on to sign an undrafted free agent deal with the Jacksonville Jaguars in the NFL and then the Atlanta Falcons before playing in the arena football league.
