Javier Ramirez is in his first year at Nevada football after joining the team in January as the Assistant Strength and Conditioning Coach

Most recently he served a similar role at Florida International University, he has previously served as the Head of Strength and Conditioning at Franklin Pierce University, overseeing more than 20 sports and 500 student athletes. Prior to his time at Franklin Pierce, he was Graduate Assistant Strength Coach at Tusculum University. 

The Arlington, Virginia native is a graduate of George Mason University with a bachelors of science in kinesiology. Prior to that he spent eight years in the navy with four of them being on board a submarine.
