Gunnar White is in his third season with the Nevada football program, serving as one of the team’s offensive graduate assistants.
White is a native of Terry, Miss. and joins the Wolf Pack after one year coaching the offensive line at Belhaven University. During his high school playing career at Terry High School, he obtained all-district and all-state honors. He was selected to play in the Bernard Blackwell North/South All-Star Game to represent the South State team as an offensive lineman. White played two seasons as an offensive lineman at Hinds Community College before transferring to Texas Tech.
Following his playing career, White earned his bachelor’s degree in health, physical education and recreation at Jackson State University. While at JSU he served as a student assistant under current Wolf Pack assistant coach Timmy Chang and worked with the equipment staff.
After his time at Jackson State, White worked as an intern for the Chicago Bears equipment staff.
White is married to Jackson, Miss. native Shelby Hardy White.
