Reno native Cole Flores joins the Nevada staff as a defensive graduate assistant in 2025, after previously coaching inside linebackers at Butte College in California.
Flores spent four seasons on Robby Snelling’s staff at Butte, culminating with a 10-1 record and Gridiron Classic Bowl victory over Foothill in 2024. Butte has gone 19-3 with postseason victories over the past two campaigns. Linebacker Austin Young led the team with 82 tackles, 8.5 tackles-for-loss, and 3.5 sacks, and was named All-Nor-Cal at the end of the regular season.
Flores played football and lacrosse at McQueen High School in Reno.
