NEVADA
SENIOR (2019) – Hauled in 26 receptions for 297 yards, averaging 11.4 yards per reception in 13 games games … His 26 catches ranked sixth on the team … He hauled in five passes for 69 yards against UNLV  … Served as one of the primary return men for Nevada, returning six punts for 75 yards on the year … Had  along punt return of 24 yards at Fresno State where he helped the Pack set up the game-winning touchdown … Totaled 11 kick returns on the season for 221 yards including a long of 31 … Had his best game of the season in the Famous Idaho Potato Bowl against Ohio, hauling in six receptions for 73 yards.
 
JUNIOR (2018) – Played in six games for the Wolf Pack, mostly on kickoff coverage, in his first season with the program … Played hero in the 2018 Arizona Bowl victory, leading the team with four catches for 114 yards and a long of 44 yards that set up Nevada for a go-ahead TD with 1:06 left in the fourth quarter ... Earned Academic All-MW honors.
 
PRIOR TO NEVADA – Transfer from Santa Rosa JC where he earned an associate’s degree in sociology … Helped the Bear Cubs to wins in the North State Bowl win in 2015 and Gridiron Classic Bowl in 2016 … Earned All-Bay 6 League honors his last season at Santa Rosa JC … Led the team in 2016 with 63 receptions totaling 809 yards and added seven touchdowns.
 
HIGH SCHOOL – Graduated from Novato High School in Novato, Calif. where he was a two-sport athlete in football and lacrosse … Received first team all-league honors in 2014 … Totaled nearly 1,000 receiving yards in his senior season with 14 touchdowns.
 
PERSONAL – Son of Suzanne and Rich Putman … Majoring in human development and family studies with a minor in business administration … Chose Nevada because of the great reputation, location and culture … Also recruited by the University of Sioux Falls … Lists Johnny Manziel and Julian Edelman as his sports heroes … Enjoys playing basketball and hiking in his free time.
