SOPHOMORE (2021) – Appeared in 12 games, finished with eight pass-breakups and no interceptions... Forced one fumble against Air Force (Nov. 19)... Finished with 41.0 total tackles which is seventh on the team... Recorded one sack for a loss of 10 yards during his career at Nevada... Transferred to Colorado State following the end of the regular season. 

FRESHMAN (2020) – Appeared in all nine games, finishing with 12 tackles ... Had a season-high five tackles (four solo) at UNLV (Oct. 31).
 
HIGH SCHOOL – Graduated from Locke College Preparatory Academy in Los Angeles where he was a three-time letterwinner in football … Helped his team to a Los Angeles City Section Division II championship in 2018 … Earned All-City Division I first team honors his senior year.
 
PERSONAL – Son of Gary King … Full name is Angel Justin King, but goes by AJ … Has two older brothers, Akeem and Kevin Ayers … His brother Akeem played college football at UCLA and his brother Kevin played collegiately at Arizona State … Undecided on a major … Chose Nevada because it felt like home and the coaches showed genuine interest in him … Also recruited by New Mexico State … Lists Sean Taylor as his sports hero … The most memorable moment of his pre-Nevada career was when he hurdled an opposing player on senior night and broke for 20 yards before diving at the pylon and scoring … Enjoys playing video games in his free time.
