Graduated from Centennial High School in California where he was a three-sport athlete in football, basketball and track & field … Finished his varsity career with 44 receptions for 829 yards in 30 games and averaged 18.8 yards per catch … Hauled in six touchdown receptions in his career … Played in 12 games his senior year and totaled 18 catches for a single season career-high 419 receiving yards and three touchdowns.

Son of David and Bridget Smith … Has two brothers, Blake and Evan, and one sister, Juliet … Business major … Chose Nevada because of the education, location and everything else checked all the boxes … Also recruited by Colorado, Air Force, Cal, Montana State, Army, Yale … Lists Kobe Bryant as his sports hero … The most memorable moment of his pre-Nevada career was the second game of his junior year where he had six catches for 110 yards against a nationally ranked opponent … Enjoys mountain biking, hiking, playing guitar, swimming, surfing and working out in his free time.
