Aaron Juarez begins his fourth season with Nevada Athletics, and 19th overall in college athletics, in 2023-24. He joined the Wolf Pack as Director, Strategic Communications, in Dec. 2020 before being elevated to his current role as Assistant AD, Strategic Communications, in July 2021.

In this role, Juarez oversees the Nevada Strategic Communications office, and serves as the department spokesperson as well as the primary media contact for the Wolf Pack football and baseball programs.

Over his 18-year career in college athletics, Juarez has worked as media contact for multiple national championship programs, national players of the year, and Olympians, in addition to serving as host media coordinator for NCAA postseason events in sports including soccer, water polo, and baseball.

From 2007-14, Juarez served as the primary media contact for Stanford Women's Basketball, coordinating promotional efforts for a Cardinal program that reached the Final Four six times (2008-12, 2014) in a seven-season span, and handling the nomination and promotion process for Tara VanDerveer's induction into the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame in 2011. Juarez also served as the primary contact for the women's water polo program which won NCAA titles in 2011, 2012, and 2014, for Stanford Women's Rowing, which captured the program's first NCAA title in 2009, and for Stanford Baseball during the program's run to the 2008 College World Series.

He began his career as an intern at Santa Clara in April 2005 before being elevated to a full-time role that August. Over two seasons with the Broncos, he served as primary contact for a pair of West Coast Conference champion programs in women's soccer and women's basketball.

Following seven season at Stanford, Juarez joined the staff at Boise State, where he served as secondary contact for the Bronco football team from 2014-2020, being part of the team's 2014 Fiesta Bowl championship run. During his time in Boise, Juarez also served as the primary contact for the Broncos' Mountain West champion swimming and diving and women's basketball teams, in addition to serving as the department's website and multimedia coordinator.

Juarez earned his bachelor's degree in communications from Santa Clara in 2004.
