FRESHMAN (2020 - Season shortened due to COVID-19) -- Made three appearances in his first collegiate season, not allowing a run to score in 2.2 innings of work … Only allowed two hits on the year … Made his collegiate debut against Hofstra (2/29) where he tossed a hitless inning … Went a season-high 1.1 frames against California Baptist (3/8).

HIGH SCHOOL -- Attended Cardinal Newman High School in Santa Rosa, Calif. … Lettered three years in baseball … Won a Northern Coast Section championship his senior year in baseball … As a senior, was named the North Bay League Pitcher of the Year, first-team All-Metro by the San Francisco Chronicle and Max Preps California Medium Schools All-State first team … In his final season, boasted a 0.84 ERA over 58.2 innings … Tossed 67 strikeouts and accumulated eight wins.

PERSONAL -- Son of Mike and Kimberly Flowers … Majoring in Criminal Justice … Chose Nevada because it is close to home and wants to be part of a winning program … Sports hero is Justin Verlander … Most memorable sports moment was throwing a complete-game shutout against Oakridge his junior year of high school … In his free time enjoys hanging out with friends, shooting hoops and playing with his golden retrievers.
