College of Southern Nevada: Played two season for Nic Garritano at the College of Southern Nevada ... Sophomore year won a team-high nine games for the Coyotes ... In 2012 made 14 appearances with 13 being starts ... Sophomore year was 9-3 with a 5.01 ERA, 70 innings pitched, tossed four complete games, struck out 52 and walked just 16 ... Freshman year was 1-2 with three saves, a 5.60 ERA and pitched 27.1 innings.

High School:  Lettered three years at Reno[apos]s Bishop Manogue High School ... Career record of 20-6 with 140 strikeouts and a 3.30 ERA ... BMHS captured the 2008 High Desert League championship ... First-team All-High Desert League selection in 2008 and 2009 after being named to the second team in 2007 ... Most Valuable Pitcher at the 2008 Kelley Showcase.
