NEVADA
2018 (Sr.): Led the conference with a .389 batting average, the 16th highest in Division I, on his way to being named the Mountain West Tony Gwynn Player of the Year … Named first team All-MW … Selected to ABCA/Rawlings third-team All-America squad … Was first on the team in at-bats (203), runs scored (46), hits (79), RBIs (52), total bases (114), walks (27), and on-base percentage (.466) … His 79 hits ranked as the 91st most in the country and ranked he 23rd with 1.55 hits per game … His on-base percentage (.466) was 38th best in the country and he ranked 69th with 1.02 RBIs per game … Led the MW in conference play with 33 runs scored and a .479 on-base percentage … He was second in MW action with a .405 batting average and 49 hits … His .479 on-base percentage in conference play was tops in the MW … Smacked a career-high five home runs, the fifth-most on the team … The outfielder was seventh in the conference with 142 total bases … Tied for seventh with nine doubles, tied for ninth with 26 RBI and was 10th with 65 total bases playing all 29 MW games for the Wolf Pack … Helped the Pack post the 19th best team batting average in the country at .297, rank eighth in the NCAA with 2.26 doubles per game, the 35th highest scoring offense and the 22nd best slugging percentage in Division I … Led the Pack with 26 multiple hit games, including four hit games at San Jose State (4/7) and at UNLV (5/13) … Was tops on the team with 15 multiple RBI games, knocking in four runs against UNLV (3/30) and New Mexico (4/15) … Recorded a hit in 44 of 51 contests … Dating back from the end of 2017, began the year on a team and career-high 17 game streak and later went on a 14 game hitting streak … Ended the season reaching base in the final 32 games, the second-longest streak on the team … He reached base in every contest in 2018 except at Fresno State (3/24) … Fennell was named the MW Player of the Week on April 3  after batting .500 in a home-series victory over UNLV … Named Academic All-MW for the second year … Graduated with a degree in business management … Lettered for the fourth time.

2016 (So.): Played in 35 games with 28 starts … Went .250 at the plate with 28 hits, 15 runs and 16 RBI … Posted a .339 on base percentage and a .357 slugging percentage … Went 3-of-4 with four RBI and two runs in a victory against St. John’s (3/18) … Also went 3-of-6 with two RBI and one run in win at Texas State … Tallied eight multi-hit games and five multi-RBI games … Posted a .984 fielding percentage with just one error in 63 chances … Missed Nevada’s final 20 games of the season after suffering an injury … Helped lead the Wolf Pack to a second place finish in the MW standings … Letter winner.

2015 (Fr.): Appeared in 31 games with 11 starts in his first season of collegiate baseball … One of six true freshmen to see playing time in 2015 … Batted .269 with 21 hits, 15 runs, 16 RBI and two home runs on the year … Most frequently used as a pinch hitter or designated hitter in Nevada’s lineup … Went 3-of-4 with four RBI and three runs – all season-high marks – in a victory over Cincinnati (3/21) … Hit his first career home run in a road victory at New Mexico (5/1) … Tallied five multi-hit games … Also posted a .385 slugging percentage and a .337 on base percentage … Had five putouts with a perfect fielding percentage … Helped Nevada win its first-ever Mountain West title and become the second-winningest team in program history … Letter winner.
