HIGH SCHOOL – Attended Live Oak High School in California where he was a three-sport athlete in baseball, basketball and football … Earned first team all-league honors in 2019 and second team all-league in 2018 … Named the junior of the year within his league in 2019 and the pitcher of the year within his team in the same year … Posted a 4.0 GPA or higher all four years of high school.

PERSONAL – Son of John and Christie Hennings … Has two older brothers, Kyle and Ryan … His father, John, played college baseball at San Jose State and his brother, Kyle, played college football at West Valley Junior College … Business finance major and would like to become a financial advisor after college … Chose Nevada because of the nice campus and solid business program … Also recruited by San Diego State and San Francisco … Lists Bo Jackson and Mike Trout as his sports heroes … Enjoys exercising, working out and fishing in his free time.
