"I would like to welcome Berkley to the Nevada softball family," said Taylor. "She is a great addition to our staff as she brings an energy and confidence which is difficult to find. We could not be more excited to have her join the Pack."

Calapp started her coaching experience with Triple Crown Stars fast pitch organization, where she helped over the summers organize and execute camps. She also was a leader with the La Tech camps that were run in correlation to the Steamboat Mountain Magic camp, Puerto Vallarta and any Lady Techsters camps.

"I am extremely excited to be the new assistant coach for the Wolf Pack," Calapp said. "Getting this opportunity straight out of college is extremely humbling and I could not be more grateful for this experience."

Calapp was the definition of an infield utility player, making stops at first, second and third base during her tenure with the Lady Techsters. A member of the 2019 senior class that collected 149 wins, good for seventh most in program history. Along with two Conference USA conference championship titles, she and the Lady Techsters made two NCAA regional appearances.

A 2019 graduate with a degree in Business Management, Calapp was named to the C-USA Commissioner's Honor Roll four consecutive years and was also named an Easton/NFCA Scholar Athlete.
