Ranked second on the team and sixth in the Mountain West with a .356 batting average ... Tallied 74 hits, 54 runs and 25 RBI in the regular season ... Ranked first in the conference and fifth in the nation among freshmen in batting average ... Posted a .457 slugging percentage and a .433 on base percentage ... High School: Graduated from John F. Kennedy High School in Fremont, Calif. ... Was a four-year letterwinner in baseball under his father and head coach, Jim Stevenson ... Won three consecutive Mission Valley Athletic League championships ... Named to the All-MVAL team as an outfielder in 2012 and 2013 ... Earned all-league selections as a utility player in 2014 while winning the MVAL player of the year award ... Also competed for the PUF Caps in the California Collegiate League over summer ... Led the CCL in batting average and earned first team All-CLL honors ... Named Nevada's 2014 summer position player of the year by head coach Jay Johnson ... Played for the Oakland A's Area Code team in the summer of 2013.
