Biography

NEVADA Will be looking to make his college appearance on the mound in 2004 after red-shirting last season...one of six left-handed pitchers on the squad...could see time in short relief or be a situational lefty...may even earn the spot as the Pack[apos]s left-handed closer...adds depth to the staff.


Brandon Evans will make his collegiate debut this season after red-shirting in 2003.

HIGH SCHOOL: Three-year letterwinner at Galena High School...three-time All-Northern Nevada selection...All-Carson Country first-team pitcher senior year...posted a 7-3 record in 55 innings with a 2.53 ERA, 64 strikeouts and walked just nine his senior year...member of state runner-up and zone championship squad as a junior.

PERSONAL: Biology major...born Sept. 29, 1983...son of Jerry and Connie Evans...plays the guitar in his free time...enjoys traveling.
