JUNIOR (Fall 2022) - Competed in five meets this season... Placed fifth at the Nevada Twilight Classic in the 5.7k in a time of 22:34... Saw the highest place finish for the women at the Griak Invitational in 50th place with a time of 21:54, now the second best time on the course and is now sitting at 23rd all-time in the 6k for Nevada... Placed 28th at the Bronco Invitational in 20:50.8... Saw the second-highest finish for the Pack at the Mountain West Championships in 39th with a time of 21:10... Ran the second fastest time for the women at the NCAA Mountain Regional in a 21:33.0, placing 63rd. 

PRIOR TO NEVADA - Attended Erasmus University in the Netherlands and received her bachelor degree in science of medicine. 

HIGH SCHOOL - Graduated from Ashram College... Competed in athletics throughout her time in high school... Apart of the PAC Rotterdam Club... 2022 Dutch Championship 3000m steeplechase third place... 2019 European Championship Duathlon Juniors third place... 2019 Dutch Championship 10k first place... 2018 Dutch Championship Duathlon first place... Apart of the musical committee for the Student Medical Faculty Association.

PERSONAL - Daughter of Jos and Diana Hijman... Has a brother named Koen... Majoring in science... Chose Nevada because she was enthusiastic about the team... Was being recruited by Miami University... Has the Club PAC Rotterdam record in the 3000m steeplechase... Most memorable experience in her career was getting third place at the European Championship Duathlon Juniors... In her free time she likes to sing.
