SENIOR OUTDOOR (2025) - Competed in three meets during the 2025 outdoor season in the javelin… Recorded a season-best throw of 46.42m to place 2nd at the Fresno State Invitational… Threw 45.18m for 4th place at the Mountain West Outdoor Championships… Finished 35th with a mark of 44.70m at the NCAA Division I West First Round. 

SENIOR INDOOR (2024-25) - Did not compete during the indoor season. 

JUNIOR OUTDOOR (2024) - Competed in seven meets during the season ... Saw a mark of 38.69m in javelin, placing 10th at the Hornet Invitational (March 16) ... Placed sixth in javelin with a mark of 40.19m at the Aztec Invitational (March 23) ... Saw a new personal record mark of 45.41m at the Stanford Invitational (March 30) ... Competed at both the Bryan Clay Invitational and the Beach Invitational, recording her furthest mark of 40.69m in javelin, placing 14th (April 13) ... Placed 12th in javelin at the Fresno State Invite (April 27) ... Secured an eighth place finish in javelin with a mark of 42.84m at the Mountain West Championships (May 11). 

JUNIOR INDOOR (2024) - Did not compete. 

SOPHOMORE OUTDOOR (2023) - Competed in six meets during the season... Placed 11th in javelin with a mark of 41.13 at the Outdoor Mountain West Championships... Earned a season best with a mark of 41.62 meters, placing ninth overall at the Pacific Coast Intercollegiate... Finished in 13th in javelin with a mark of 39.86m at the Aztec Invitational... Placed 6th in javelin at the Stanford Invitational with a mark of 40.61m... Finished 28th with a mark of 39.78m at the Bryan Clay Invitational... Placed ninth with a mark of 41.38m at the Fresno Invitational.

SOPHOMORE INDOOR (2022-23) - Did not compete. 

FRESHMAN OUTDOOR (2022) – Competed in seven meets during the season ... Best mark in the javelin throw was earned at the MW Championships, where Steerman earned a 5th place mark of 42.80m ... This mark also earned the team four points ... Earned four top-10 finishes throughout the season. 

FRESHMAN INDOOR (2022) – Did not compete.

HIGH SCHOOL - Went to Faith Bible HS in Oregon ... Competed in both track and basketball ... Rookie of the year in track and basketball during 2017-18 season ... Standout athlete in track in 2019 ... Northwest League 2021 Girl's athlete of the year in track ... Has a 141’05 personal best in the javelin and 114’8 personal best in the discus.
