SOPHOMORE (2022): Named to the All-Mountain West Second Team ... Batted .344, second on the team amongst full-timers, with nine doubles, a triple, and two home runs ... Second on the team with 30 walks, and scored 39 runs with 24 RBIs ... Went 2-for-3 with a walk and two RBIs at UC Santa Barbara (Feb. 27) ... Had two hits in each of the three games against San José State, going a combined 6-for-12 with four RBIs (March 11-13) ... Walked twice and drove in a run at San Francisco (March 22) ... Went 4-for-5 with a double against No. 2 Oregon State (March 30) ... Hit a solo homer against San Diego State (April 3) ... Doubled, drove in two runs in two-hit game against Sacramento State (April 5) ... Posted back-to-back three-hit games at UNLV, doubling and scoring four runs in the latter (April 8-9) ... Walked thrice and drove in a run against Air Force (April 16) ... Doubled, drove in a run, and scored thrice in win over New Mexico (May 6) ... Walked three teams in second game against New Mexico (May 7) ... Went 3-for-4 in opener at San Diego State (May 13) ... Doubled, walked thrice, went 1-for-1 with two RBIs and two runs scored in finale against the Aztecs (May 15) ... Went 2-for-3 with two walks and four runs scored in opener against Fresno State (May 19) ... Batted .500 (7-for-14) with two RBIs over the MW Championship (May 26-28), posting multi-hit games in all three contests ... Went 2-for-5 with an RBI in win over UNLV (May 27) ... Tripled and went 3-for-5 with an RBI in second game against San José State (May 28).

FRESHMAN (2021) -- Played in 13 games with nine starts in his rookie season … Rotated between second base, shortstop and third base in the 13 games he played in … Batted .189 with seven hits … Recorded two doubles, one RBI and scored seven runs … Was 2-for-2 on the base paths … Notched 12 putouts and 16 assists to just one error to post a fielding percentage of .966 … Posted two multi-hit games, including a season-high three-hit game against Arizona State on May 11 … Letter winner.

HIGH SCHOOL -- Lettered three years in baseball at Heritage High School in Brentwood, Calif. where he was part of two Bay Valley Athletic League titles in 2018 and 2019 … Received many accolades during his high school career including first team all-league in 2018, league MVP, NCS Baseball Player of the Year, Heritage High MVP and Prep to Prep Junior Baseball Player of the Year honors in 2019 … Batted .457 during his high school seasons with 86 hits, an on-base percentage of 54.2 and fielding percentage of .947 … During his junior year he hit .582 with 53 hits and also pitched 36.2 innings and compiled an ERA of 0.76 with four wins.

PERSONAL -- Son of Paul and Nicole Jackson … Has three older siblings, sisters Rachel and Amanda, and brother Jacob … Would like to play professional baseball or go into business after college … Chose Nevada because it was the best fit for his ambitions as a baseball player and as a student … Also recruited by San Jose State, Cal State Northridge, Santa Clara, San Francisco and Saint Mary’s … In his free time he enjoys spending time outdoors, including hunting, fishing, hiking and boating.
