SENIOR OUTDOOR (2021) – Competed in five regular season meets for Nevada ... Earned a personal best and 5th place finish in the hammer throw at the Tri-Team Challenge with a distance of 37.67m ... Also finished 3rd at the meet in the shot put with a distance of 12.57m ... Earned a personal best in the shot put at the Rice Twilight with a distance of 13.38m.
SENIOR INDOOR (2021) – Competed once during the indoor season ... Earned a personal best and a 7th place finish at the Air Force Invitational in the shot put with a distance of 13.10m ... Also competed in the weight throw where she finished with a distance of 12.16m.
JUNIOR OUTDOOR (2020) – Canceled due to COVID-19
JUNIOR INDOOR (2020) – Competed in three meets for Nevada during the season ... Earned a new personal best in the weight throw with a distance of 12.95m ... Finished in the top-10 in the shot put at the Bronco Invitational with a distance of 12.49m.
SOPHOMORE OUTDOOR (2019) – Did not compete.
SOPHOMORE INDOOR (2018-19) – Competed in three meets for the Pack, throwing the weight and the shot put … Finished in the top 10 of every shot put competition on the year.
FRESHMAN OUTDOOR (2016) – Had a season’s best throw twice on the year, tossing 42 feet and 1.25 inches (12.83m) in the first and last meets of the season … Competed in the discus as well with a best toss of 124 feet and 10 inches (38.06m) … Competed in four meets during the season.
FRESHMAN INDOOR (2015-16) – Showed improvement as a true freshman … Had a season’s best throw of 42 feet and 0.5 inches (12.81m) at the Mountain West Championships.
HIGH SCHOOL – Holds a personal record of 42 feet and 9 inches (13.03m) … Placed third at the state meet in both 2017 and 2016 … Also set a personal record in the discus of 124 feet and 9 inches (38.02m), a mark she set in 2017 … Was named her team’s MVP Field Athlete her junior and senior year.
PERSONAL – Daughter of Deanna and William Dern … Has two older siblings … Plans on majoring in biology … Lists Mia Hamm as her sports hero … Chose Nevada because of the coaching staff and the school’s cadaver lab … Was also recruited by Baylor, Alabama and Georgia.
