2020 (So. *Season shorted due to COVID-19): Did not see the field as a sophomore.

2019 (Fr.): Played 15 games as a freshman, batting .308 with eight hits in seven starts … Three of his eight hits were doubles … Scored four runs and recorded his first-career RBI against Air Force … His best game came at home against Grand Canyon, where he played his second-career game as the Wolf Pack’s designated hitter and recorded two hits with a run scored and a double … Lettered for the first time.

PRIOR TO NEVADA
High School: Lettered three years in baseball and four years in football at St. John Bosco in Bellflower, Calif. … 2017 Trinity League Champion in baseball…  Was a Trinity league champion in 2014 and 2015 in football and Division 1 CIF and State Champions in 2016 … Boasted a .274 batting average in high school with 22 RBI, seven doubles and three triples … Held a .933 fielding percentage in 49 games played.

PERSONAL
Psychology major… Son of Robert and Kimberly Boyd, and Phoebe Nichols . . . Enjoys playing PS4 and listening to music . . . Came to Nevada because it’s a program on the rise and the team never stops competing . . . Cousin Dillon Tate was drafted fourth overall in 2015 and currently plays in the Baltimore Orioles’ organization . . . Sports hero is Rickey Henderson.
