SENIOR (Fall 2021) – Competed in two meets during the season ... Finished in 91st at the NCAA Regional meet with her time of 22:46 ... Also finish in 92nd at the Bronco Invitational with her time of 22:50. 

JUNIOR (Spring 2021) – Competed in both meets during the season ... Finished in 69th at the Mountain West Championships with her time of 22:57.9 in the 6k ... Finished the Battle Born Challenge with a time of 23:29.8 in the 6k.

SOPHOMORE (2019) – The sophomore competed in every race during the season which started off with a ninth overall placement at the Nevada Twilight Classic in the 6k with a time of 22:21 ... Melendrez would improve her time at the Capital Cross Challenge with her time of 21:49.8 ... She then would just miss her personal record time at the Bronco Invitational with her time of 21.37.9 ... At the Mountain West Championship, Melendrez finished 53rd overall with her time of 22:10.1 ... Lastly, Melendrez would finish 87th overall at the NCAA Mountain Region Championships with her time of 22:06.1

FRESHMAN (2018) – Ran in four races for Nevada in her first season … Set a personal record in the biggest race of the year, running a time of 21:36 at the NCAA Mountain Region Championships … The time put her in a tie for 12^th on the program’s all-time list, and third on the freshman all-time list.

HIGH SCHOOL – Nevada 4A state Champion in 3200m in 2017 and 2018and a personal best of 10:46 … Nevada 4A Cross Country State Champion in 5000m in 2017 and owner of a personal best of 18:27.2 ... Also competed in the 800,1500, 1600 and 3000 meter races . . . Nevada Gatorade cross country player of the year . . . Spanish Springs female athlete of the year.

PERSONAL – Also recruited by UNLV, Chico State, Portland State, Washington State, St. Mary’s, University of the Pacific and Northern Arizona University … Ranked number 48 out of 558 graduates … President of Family Career and Community Leaders of America … Member of National Honor Society.
